Welcome to the Herd Health and Piglet Care Webinar with guest speaker Ryan Harrell. Ryan has been working with pigs since he was a 14 year old in 4H. He and his family raised show swine. Ryan went on to work for a veterinarian in his later teens as well as a feed company where he learned much about swine nutrition. He also as a young man wore in boar, nursery, and finisher farms in the conventional pig farm industry. Ryan graduated from Purdue with a degree in Animal Science and went on to get a degree in Nuclear Medicine from Indiana University. He started his Veterinary Consulting Firm 13 years ago and is know for performing treatments in a variety of species that treat arthritis and cancer. Ryan is also a guest lecturer for the Purdue Pre-Vet and DVM programs.

Ryan will discuss herd health and piglet care from a veterinarian’s perspective. You will walk away with knowledge on how to improve the health of your herd as a whole!
